El Ferrell is an accomplished consultant who helps leaders and organizations effectively communicate their vision, strategy, and key messages. With a deep understanding of the complexities of communicating and driving successful change, El partners with her clients to achieve impactful engagement with their stakeholders. When asked to describe herself and what she does, El says: “Having worked more than 25 years in the field of communications, I’m proud to say I’m a communications goddess, an engagement enthusiast, a change master and a transformation wizard!”

After earning a bachelor’s degree from Queens University of Charlotte (formerly Queens College), El’s early career included serving as spokesman for different organizations, where she not only engaged the media and external audiences, but also helped executives make meaningful connections with both the public and employees. She eventually concentrated on internal communications almost exclusively, because, in her words: “I think connecting well with internal audiences – such as employees and even leaders themselves – can have a powerful impact on an organization’s ability to be successful. These stakeholders have a view from the inside and can see where the imperfections are. They aren’t easily impressed. Engaging them must be substantive and authentic.”
